When I got this, the description said 8" by 8". Well it turned out to be double the size at 16" diametter, which was much bigger than I expected. Oh well. Its fairly light and probably meant for an office. But the marble pattern matched my bathroom, and I got it so I can time my showers as to save time.I like how its very light. This may be a con for some, but a plus for me. Works fine with a battery. Function, looks nice, classy, no major cons.

I’m finishing my basement and was looking for a wall clock for the kitchenette area. When I saw this clock with a face that was a perfect match for the kitchen tile I was using, I ordered it.It’s large and very easy to read from a distance. The normal cock markings are not numbers on this clock but rather just straight golden colored bars. You don’t really need the numbers if you know how to read a standard clock face, so that’s really a positive for me (it enhances the simplicity of the clock). I was originally puzzled that it was described as a “silent clock” as it has a quiet tick for each move of the second hand. I like that tick as I hear it as a pleasant peaceful sound, but it’s not “silent.” But now I realize that the “silent” means that it doesn’t ring on the hour or at any other time. I appreciate that silence!It uses a single AA battery (not included) that is easy to change in or out. It’s light in weight and is easy to mount on a wall. An adhesive tag and hook would be sufficient to hold this securely.I’m very pleased with this clock!

My wife wanted this. I'm not a fan of the kitchen counter marble-like clock face. My wife loves it! For me, it distracts from seeing what time it is. The gold colored lines for numbers and the round trim are not my style. I had given it 5 stars as it does exactly what it was designed for. AND it has silent movement, for that, it is 5 stars. The 'second' hand is not a smooth motion, it steps to each second, but is silent! This would be great in a bedroom as no to disturb the sleeper. Great also in a office, living room, kitchen if that is your style. If it is this is the clock for you!

I was looking for a clock to place in my living room to replace one that was old, quit working, and was a little to small. This neutral color clock is what I was looking for. I wanted a clock that I could easily read from across the room but was not to big or overwhelming. When I opened the box this clock was exactly what I was hoping for. The description and photos matched the clock and it's details. The clock does require 1 AA battery to operate that is not included. I did not want to hide a outlet plug in cord so I like the battery operated models. This clock is keeping time well and looks a lot better than the other one I had. If you are looking for a clock with similar interests as me than you can not go wrong with this item. I gave it 5 stars and a thumbs up.
