It’s About Time: Tick Talk Is Back

For decades, Tick Talk Magazine was the voice of Westclox. Today, it's back — as an online home for clock lovers, collectors, and anyone who still believes a great alarm clock matters.

It’s About Time: Tick Talk Is Back

Volume 1, Issue 1 — Summer 2026

It's About Time.

For decades, Tick Talk Magazine was the voice of Westclox — a publication that landed on the desks of clock enthusiasts, retailers, and collectors across America. It covered new releases, celebrated milestones, and reminded readers that a well-made clock is more than a timepiece. It's a companion.

Then, like so many great things, it went quiet.

Today, we're bringing it back.

The love of a great clock has never gone away. Collectors still hunt for vintage Baby Bens at flea markets. Families still pass down Big Bens from one generation to the next. Clock forums still buzz with questions, restorations, and stories. People who know clocks know that nothing quite replaces the satisfaction of a real mechanical alarm — the craftsmanship, the reliability, the character.

Westclox has been waking up America since 1884. The Big Ben. The Baby Ben. The Moonbeam. These aren't just products — they're pieces of American life, still ticking after fifty, sixty, seventy years. That story deserves to be told.

What to Expect

A Note to the Faithful

To the thousands of Westclox fans who kept the flame alive who haunted fleamarkets for vintage Baby Bens, who posted in clock forums, who emailed us asking when Tick Talk was coming back — this one's for you. You never stopped caring about great American timekeeping, and neither did we.

Whether you're a lifelong Westclox collector who remembers the original Tick Talk, or you just picked up your first Big Ben Moonbeam and want to know how to set it — this magazine is for you.

Welcome back. It's about time.

We Want to Hear From You

Reviving Tick Talk isn't something we take lightly — and we're not doing it alone. This magazine belongs to the community that kept Westclox alive in living rooms, workshops, and clock forums for decades. That means your voice matters here, and we genuinely mean that.

Tell us what you love. Tell us what we got wrong. Tell us about the clock your grandmother kept on her nightstand, or the Baby Ben you found at a garage sale that still runs perfectly. Pitch us a story idea. Ask a question we haven't answered yet. We read everything.

The good, the bad, and the ugly — we want it all. The only way Tick Talk gets better is if you tell us how.
